Jette-Ives

When We Were In the Deep

If Kate Bush, Gillian Welsh, and William Orbit having afternoon drinks in a cool, dark Brooklyn bar — were a song…

Jette-Ives is the shadowy electropop of singer-lyricist Jette Kelly and producer Holmes Ives. Deemed "coolly carnal" by the Washington Post, with "smoky, spellbinding...vocal styling" (Okayplayer), Jette Kelly is a singer-poet who grew up surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, books, and, later, DC’s house music scene. Ives, on the other hand, is a Mexico City-based artist who has produced and remixed for Moby, Bebel Gilberto, Donna Lewis, and Karsh Kale, among many others.

Permission, desire, absence — Jette-Ives’s new album, Seven Sins and Counting, debuts in January 2022 and will be distributed by Six Degrees Records.
